하나만 더 적어 놓아야겠습니다
산을 걸어 올라갈 때에
까앙의 한 청년이 뒤따라오면서 힘내라고
하모니카를 불어주었다는

The Beautiful Feet
Every time I heard about the word mission I always remember the story of one missionary who went to an island somewhere in Africa in this missionary left his family for this “thing” that if the world will see it would be for nothing yet it’s dangerous, this missionary was killed by the native of that island, years pass by the son of this missionary became a Pastor and this Pastor finally was called by God to do the same mission liked his father. He obeyed the call and he went to the island where his father was murdered and he prayed and shared the Good news, many people of that island became a Christian. And the people of the island asked forgiveness to the pastor for what their forefathers done to the pastors father. Blessing, forgiveness, fellowship, compassion and LOVE filled that island.
I always asked this, WHY???????????
What’s the reason that this people went out from there comfort zone, give their time sacrificially, give their finances, and even give their life for this “THING” they called ministry.
What pushes them?.....
Here’s a Story that helps’s me answer my question….
March 21, 2009 about 10 am in the morning students were gathering at PABCF
(Philippine Asia Bible College Foundation) preparing for the mountain ministry. There were 15 students and 2 staff. The team was lead by Rev. Joon Tack Sung. All students don’t really know where we were heading. Past 10 when we begun to move, and were heading halsema highway, we stopped over at Natubleng for our lunch and this time our team leader told us that we are going to Bakun. The road going to Bakun was so
rough that some of as choose to walked, during this time I was observing our team and I did never heard any complain. Finally we arrived 8pm at Bagu,Bakun and we had to walked for 30 minutes before reaching our destination. A very warm welcome was given to as by our brethrens at Bagu, they even prepared a dinner for us, and tiredness was gone because of “the joy of fellowship”. We have a service fellowship that night and we had the opportunity to minister to our brethrens. Desiree, Jay Ann, Janerie, Eva Mae, Christine, Elizabeth, Bryan, Mark rendered song. Early in the morning we have to walked for two hours to reached Kaang and again we have the opportunity to minister to our brethrens their after the service again we have to walked for 2hours to reached Takadang.
It was a tiring day, everyone was tired, was hungry, everyone wanted to rest. I was asking my self if how these churches exist in these remote areas. But this information amazed me that all this Churches was planted by FOOT and FAITH of our beloved team leader Rev. Joon Tack Sung. How did he reach these places, by plane? By car???? no!no!no!no!no!no! HE WALKEDS……
And all my questions were answered…this is the answer…
This is the “THING” I see during our journey, I saw people get tired but still they go, I saw them got weak but still they persevere, I saw them almost going down but still they were determined. And I said God give me this kind of heart.
This MINISTRY was all about HEART. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then they call on him in whom they have not believed. And how shall they believe in him they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preached, except they be sent? As it is written, HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE FEET OF THEM THAT PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, AND BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS! (ROMANS 10:13-15)
