Change ourself 

"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 

(1st Corinthians 15:57) 

Father we thank you for this morning. 

We thank for your present 

As we start to listen to your words 

Let your holy spirit saturate and inspire us 

And bless each every one of us through your word 

In Jesus name amen 

This morning I'd like share the word of God entitled Change yourself 

As we have read the Bible, today's passage says that God give us victory through our Lord  

it means, as we believer we are already winner and victor through our Lord Jesus Christ 

But when we check our selves, we don't really live a victorious life. 

Many Christians fail to live a victorious life. 

Brothers and sisters  

we Christians should participate in victory in our lives. 

Then how could we live a victorious living? 

How could we make a victory on our sides? 

Let's find out together the way to victory. 

1. Change our thinking 

Ex) Niagara Falls 

Expert of leadership John Maxwell said 

"Your today is result of your yesterday thinking 

and your future depend on your thinking today" 

there is a power in our thinking 

Our thought has creative power and destructive power at the same time 

Happy life or unhappy is depending on our thinking 

Success or failure is depending on our thinking 

Brothers and sisters 

do you believe that God has a great plan for us 

yes God wants to bless us to prosper 

Prosper is God's will for us. 

But the problem is our thinking 

Even though God promised us to prosper, our thinking is still negative. 

In the Bible, we can find person with such a character 

For example, Moses 

God said to Moses “Bring my people out from Egypt." 

Moses answered "I cannot I'm very weak." 

When God promised to Abraham to give him child, 

Abraham said, "No, I am very old." 

But brothers and sisters, we have to remember this one 

When God promised to his people, that promise will not be broken no matter what. 

"I'm too old." "I'm to weak." that is not a problem 

Our thinking is negative but we have to know that God is positive. 

We are weak but God is strong because He is the almighty. 

We are poor but God is rich because He is abundance. 

We have limit but God has no limit. He is infinity. 

Satan says that is difficult but Jesus said that is easy. 

Satan says that is impossible but Jesus says that is possible. 

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." 

"Everything is possible for him who believes." 

We have a victory in the name of Jesus who continually empowers us. 

Brothers and sisters, 

we must change our thinking. 

We should change our negative thinking to positive thinking 

Because: sometimes our negative thought be hindered us to be a successful Christian. 

Brothers and sisters 

Let us have positive thinking that is what God wants 

Ex. There were two shoe salesmen who were sent to Africa 

The first salesman, upon arriving at the place, saw people without shoes He then reported to the boss and said … 

Brothers and sisters 

They saw the same situation but one salesman saw the difficulty but the other saw opportunity 

So when positive people see trials, they see opportunity 

And they overcome their problem 

But when negative people see trials, they see difficulty 

And they give up everything, 

In the bible, we can see the same situation 

When Moses brought out Israelites from Egypt and arrived at Canaan 

Moses sent 12 men to explore the land of Canaan 

And when they returned, they reported to Moses that the land is flowing milk and honey 

But the people there are stronger and powerful 

so we cannot attack them, this is according to the 10 men 

But Caleb and Joshua said that "We attack them, God will help us." 

Brothers and sisters, again they saw the same situation 

Ten of them saw difficulty but Caleb and Joshua saw opportunity 

As you know, it is only Caleb and Joshua who were able to go and settle in Canaan. 

Brothers and sisters 

Change our thinking 

We must believe in His power and His almighty 

Through His power we can have the victory in our lives. 

2. Change our speaking 

In the beginning God had created the heavens and earth. 

When God said "let there be light." And there was light. 

When God commanded (speaks, pronounce the word) there was light. 

Brothers and sisters 

Bible says the tongue is the least member of our body but it can control the whole body. 

The power of life and death is in this mouth. 

We can bring blessing or misery into our life with our speaking. 

If we speak negatively bad things comes. 

But if we speak positively good things comes. Amen? 

My country people they use to say 죽겠다 means dying. 

They use to say, "Oh it's nice day to die" "oh I ate too much I could die" 

"I'm happy I could die" and "I'm so scared to death." 

They always express their emotional with 죽겠다 

That may be because through out Koreas 5000 years of history, 

we had constantly with fighting and PATAY 

Fighting with Mongolian china and Japan. 

Even my country is divided and they fight each other 

And until now, we still live in the brink of war 

You know my wife always says "Walang pera." 

Even if she has money, she says no money 

So I told my wife if you keep on saying no money, 

You will really have no money later on.

Brothers and sisters 

If you want be successful, we have to change our language first 

We have to admit that we have a victory in the name of Jesus. 

3. Change our Habit 

Brothers and sisters 

Before we became Christian we were all sinner. Right? 

Because of our sin Jesus died on the cross 

and Rising from the grave. praise the lord 

Now by the free gift of God’s grace we are not sinners any longer. 

We have new life 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come

So don’t go back in the way of sinner’s way again. 

We must continuously stand in grace of the Lord. 

And that is not all 

We have to go one step further 

Brothers and sisters 

Listen carefully. 

Repentance is twofold (double meaning) 

1st It requires turning away from sin and 

2nd reaching for righteousness. 

Some turn from their sin but they never make a decision to start doing right. 

That’s the reason why others are lured back into sin. 

In the market, there's one salesman shouting in the street 

"Gumatang kayo, gumatang kayo.' 

This is a very good medicine for your growing hair. 

Even though you have no hair in your head 

If you put this medicine in your head even only for a few times 

You will have silky hair in your head. 

Kaya gumatang kayon." 

Even if he was shouting in the street whole day 

Nobody bought that medicine 

You know why? 

Because the salesman is kalbo. 

Bible says that "old things are passed away behold, all things are become new." 

Brothers and sisters 

Born again Christian should have a new life. Amen? 

But many Christian fail to live new life. 

They pray and praise the Lord in the church but after they got out of the church 

They live the same life with non-Christian. 

They play tong-its and drink tanduay 

What's the difference between Christian and non-Christian? 

We live no different lives with them 

We profess to be successful Christian 

But we continue in the old self, which is deceiving ourselves 

That is the problem. 

Brothers and sisters 

If we are the same with non-Christians 

How could we evangelize Jesus Christ to them 

Like the merchant, how can we sell the medicine for growing hair if we are kalbo? 

Let's open the Bible in the Ephesians 4:22-24 

"To put off your old self, (forsake our old self) 

which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, 

to be made new in the attitude of your minds (renovate our mind) 

and put on the new self, created to be like God 

in true righteousness and holiness." 

Brothers and sisters 

We have to change our habit 

We have to throw our old self 

And we have to follow God's likeness 

and god promise to us 

If you fully obey the Lord your God 

and carefully follow all his commands 

I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high 

above all the nations on earth.

Holiness is commanded of God 

So we need hunger for holiness 

We need a revival for holiness 

We have to do the right habit that is pleasing to God. 

And it will bring us victory in our lives. Amen? 

4. Change your Invest 

Millions are investing in temporal possession 

They invest in this world 

But we have to know this one 

For everything here in this world is temporary 

After we die, no more 

Brothers and sisters 

That is why Jesus says in Matthew 6:20 

"Store up for your selves treasures in heaven." 

Jesus wants us to invest in heaven where there is forever 

In heaven there is no decay and there's no robber 

Then how to invest in heaven? 

How to store up treasure in heaven? 

When you pray to the Lord, 

That is the one way to invest in heaven. 

Attending the church and listening to the word of God is also the way to invest in heaven 

So now we are investing in heaven. Amen? 

When we evangelize, that's also one way to investing in heaven. 

When you share your blessings to others, 

that's also one way to investing in heaven. 

Somebody hurt you but you forgave him, that's also storing up treasure in heaven 

Offering to God is also one way of storing up treasure in heaven. 

Brothers and sisters 

Where do you invest, in this world or in heaven? 

Even you invest in the stock market that does not guarantee you prosperity. 

Even the president can not make us prosper. 

Only God can make us prosper in every thing we do. 

That is his promise to us. 

so to be victorious, we must live by the promise of God. 

Change our investment 

And today I want to focus on praying 

When you pray once, you are putting one hollow block in heaven 

When you pray twice, you are putting one more hollow block in heaven 

It is like a time deposit, when you pray your treasure is accumulated in heaven 

Ex. Jessica’s story 

It’s the same with our father in heaven 

When you pray to the Father, cry out to him. 

Only he is our final authority  

yes God want us change today 

so i declare to God in the name of Jesus

i will change today

i change my thinking 

i change my speaking 

i change my behavior 

and i will change my investment

 then we will have a victory in our lives 

yes our God is bigger than my problem

our God is bigger than my dilemma 

our God is bigger than my situation 

and he is my God king of kings and lord of lords 

so i declare in the name of Jesus 

i propersize to myself 

i gonna change today

i will change my life today

i declare in the name of mighty Jesus

i will win my spiritual battle

i have a victory after victory

let every devils knows that all the struggle is over today

this is my last day 

the poverty its over

the sickness it's over 

the pressure it's over 

lack it is over 

it is my time to change in the name of Jesus

i declare  i have a victory in my life, in the name of Jesus

i will live with power of the lord from today

i will live with Blessing of God from today 

i will change my life 

from tomorrow you will not recognize me  because  i will change today

Father we thank once again this morning 

We thank you that you come to this world 

And crucified for us and was resurrected 

So that you gave us victory 2000 years ago 

Thank you Lord 

And now I pray in the name of Jesus 

Help us change our thinking talking habit and invest 

Father You continue to empower us and strengthen us 

Whatever circumstance we will be confronted with 

Lord give us strong and steady faith  

And help us to fixed their eyes unto you 

Help us to follow our banner Jehovah Nissi 

Lord, you are our Lord of Lords and king of Kings 

You are my strong tower/living water/bread of heaven / God of salvation Halleluiah!! 

so i declare in the name of Jesus

go out all the mountains will go away 

all the problems will go away 

all the frustrations will go away 

all hindrance will go away

Once again I pray Lord you keep on showering your blessing unto us 

Bless our ministry bless our family and bless all our way of life 

Help us magnify the work of our hands to bring glory your name 

Thank you Jesus, thank Holy Spirit 

We give all the glory honor and praise to you
