Law of thinking (Proverbs 4;23) 

“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” 

story 1

Argentina and Chile in South America, decided to build a statue of Jesus Christ 

on the border of two countries to improve their relationship 

however  due to the statue of Jesus Christ

problem arise 

because this statue face to Argentina 

so Chile country people angry 

why Jesus face to Argentina ~~

and later on,they encounter crisis to war

that time  

one Journalist  write article in the Chile newspaper

Why is Jesus facing to Argentina because Argentina needs more Jesus' care than Chile.

The article gave a big impression to Chile people 

tama, Chile is better than Argentina 

their anger change to compassion 

and problem solved 

because of the positive and peaceful mind of one journalist 

prevent the tragedy of the 2 countries

Brothers and sisters this is the point 

Our life can be transformed by even a minimal change of our thinking

story 2

there was a fox in the mountain

and the fox's legs were always wounded because he went around  high and steep mountain

one day the fox went down the village and he saw the people widening and cementing the road

when the fox saw that

suddenly the fox had an idea in his mind

yes!! like that

i will make the road in the mountain so that my legs will not have more wounds

and his idea is to kill rabbit  and remove its skin and cover the track which he going around

and so every day he killed mountain rabbits ,get the skin and covered the road

with rabbit skin

one day, he caught another rabbit as he used to do

sorry but i need your sacrifice for my comfortable walking

then rabbit told the fox

sir, even you kill all the rabbit here in this mountain

you can't cover the mountain road

how about you cut my tail and make your shoes - leather shoes

then you may have comfortable walk in the mountain

 

wow that is good idea~~

brothers and sisters this is the same point 

change your mind and your thinking

Expert of leadership John Maxwell said 

"Your today is result of your yesterday thinking 

and your future depend on your thinking today" 

you know there is a power in our thinking 

Our thought has creative power and destructive power at the same time 

Happy life or unhappy is depending on our thinking 

Success or failure is depending on our thinking 

So our thinking is very important

what do you think now 

what’s on your mind? 

Many people are tormented because they cannot get a grip on their minds 

Why Adam and eve had fallen Because they were thoughtless they fell into temptation 

Most of the 1st generation Israelite couldn’t enter the land of Canaan after exodus, why? 

Because their thinking was negative 

But Caleb and Joshua who had positive thinking they could enter the land of Canaan 

# Bible says in number 14;24 

New century version 

“But my servant Caleb thinks differently and follows me completely. 

So I will bring him into the land he has already seen, and his children will own that land.” 

Caleb's thinking is different than others 

his thinking is positive 

and Because of his thinking he entered the land of Canaan 

Satan know this one 

He knows thinking is important 

So when he tempt us, first he attack our thinking 

#John 13;2 

Amplified bible version 

“So [it was] during supper, Satan having already put the thought of betraying Jesus in the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son,” 

Satan put the thought in Judas’ heart so he betray Jesus 

Brothers and sister once again 

there is a power in our thinking 

The ideas and images in our minds are the invisible powers that constantly govern us 

Thinking has a power to change everything 

#1)Our thought determined our personality 

Our personality is aggregate of our thinking 

Our acting is flower of our thinking 

And our character is a fruit of our thinking 

We can harvest sweet fruits or bitter fruits 

depending on the seed we plant which is our thinking 

Proverbs 23;7(NKJV) 

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he 

Meaning what we think what we are 

myself = my thinking 

In our mind (heart ) there is a factory (factory of thinking) 

we can produce weapon which destroy ourselves 

or produce tools to build happiness is result of our thinking 

so we need to control our thinking 

Proverbs 16:32 (Today's New International Version) 

 “Better a patient person than a warrior, those with self-control than those who take a city.” 

it  is better control our thinking than take city

so We have to train and improve our thinking to be good 

Then how to control our thinking? 

Answer is the bible 

Word of God inspires us to make positive and creative thinking 

Word of God makes to find out bad and negative our thinking 

and fix our thinking and renew our thinking 

#Joshua 1;8 

“Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, 

so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. 

Then you will be prosperous and successful.” 

What does it mean to meditate? Webster says 

“Think intently and at length, as for spiritual purposes” 

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, 

correcting and training in righteousness, 

So read the bible every day to be right our thinking amen 

#2) Thinking has impact on our circumstances 

Our circumstance is product of our thinking 

Thinking also connect closely to our external condition 

Thinking = seed 

Acting=flower 

Circumstances=fruit 

Good thinking bear good fruits and bad thinking bear bad fruits 

# Romans 8; 6

“The mind of sinful man is death, 

but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace”『 

Jeremiah 6:19 (King James Version) 

“Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, 

even the fruit of their thoughts,

 because they have not hearkened unto my words, 

nor to my law, but rejected it.” 

remember this one

if God is angry that is because of our fruit of thinking

once again 

Our circumstance reflects our thinking as a mirror 

All sins are starting with our mind 

Sinful mind growing and growing 

and one day, it will manifest through actions 

Our way of thinking makes our circumstance 

So if we want to change our circumstance, 

We have to change our thinking first 

Change our thinking first then our surrounding will change 

Change our thinking first then our attitude will change 

Change our thinking first then our life will change 

# Matt.11:29) 

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,

for I am gentle and humble in heart, 

and you will find rest for your souls.

Philippians 2;5 kjv

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

what is this mind?- humble mind

Matt 5;8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God 

#3) Thinking have impact our body 

David Yonggi Cho said 

“our material and physical world belongs to the three dimensional space 

and there is more higher dimension (the fourth dimension)that is spiritual dimension 

And the 3rd dimension is contained and controlled by the 4th dimension” 

Meaning our body is controlled by our thinking 

Even though you eat baboy everyday 

Even though you eat vitamin everyday 

You are always depressed and have negative mind 

Then you will be in delicate health 

But even though you always eat kamote 

if you always have smile and positive mind 

Then you will be healthy 

So even thou you eat sarisari every day 

Do not complain but thank be to God 

Then you will be strong 

Meaning, unless you do not change your thinking 

Even you take very nice medicine it is useless 

We have to know this one 

Happy thought and sound mind is the best doctor for our body 

“A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.” proverbs15:13 

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones”  proverbs 17:22 

“A man's spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear” proverbs 18:14 

So brothers and sisters don’t worry be happy 

be happy always amen

# 4) Thinking has impact to success 

People become according to their thinking 

Success or failure is dependent on our thinking 

So we should have positive and productive thinking 

all the Israelite afraid of Goliath 

but David is not 

he defeat Goliath why? because  in his heart (mind )he win already 

in his thinking he defeat already 

Notice that our destiny in life is to a large extent determined by our thoughts. 

we are estimated by a type and volume of the thinking. 

so if  we want fulfill our vision we should plant good and right thinking

and think positives and creative

coz our God is positive and creative 

you know Positive thinking is contagious(컨테지어스)

so use only positive word while thinking and while talking 

"i can, i am able, it is possible, it can be done ~"

disregard and ignore negative thought

refuse to think such destructive thoughts 

by substituting(써브스티 듀딩) them with constructive thoughts

Every time a negative thought finds its way into your mind,

 immediately replace it with a positive thought.

I can do everything through him who gives me strength

if God is with us who will against with me

our beginning is small yet  our end will increase greatly. 

change our thinking change our mind

Replace negativity with positive thought

replace destructive with creative thought

replace sorrow with  joy 

replace anger with peace 

replace suffering with thanksgiving

replace lose with hope

replace worry with faith

replace failure with Success

fix your thought on Jesus

and Commit to the LORD, whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. 

Father once again we thank you this afternoon 

Today we study about our thinking 

And father, help us to control our thinking 

Help us to think big, positive, heavenly things always 

so that we have a victory in our lives 

and glorifying your name 

Thank you Father we love you
